Austin has always been a very fun town.  In the 70’s it was the hoppin’ hippy hangout for liberals and conservatives alike.  Many people remember Hippy Hollow on Lake Travis, it was for many years a happening spot on the water for anybody looking for a fun time. Austin is currently heavily fueled by the University of Texas.  When students graduate they typically dont want to leave Austin.  This has created a created a very competitive job market.  There are many software and electronics companies in Austin including Dell and Samsung. The hills and lakes surrounding Austin give it an authentic west coast atmosphere that is unmatched in Texas. This, along with the free-spirited culture make Austin a great place to call home.  It is very common to see celebrities at the sporting events and in the night life.  Austin has a vibrant residential future and is steadily molding as a top commercial market.  If you never want to grow up but still need a great market to run continue your career Austin is the place for you.
